Human’ Smarts

We think we are wise persons, and brag about how smart we are. We brag about our qualities, and how we manage our relationships. And we feel we are the smartest creatures in the world. But, is that true or real? Is it true that we, humans, are wise and smart? I sometimes, wonder if we are not the lowest intelligent beings on earth.

Look, we, humans, are driven by our ego, acting on impulses. We are prisoners of paradigms and beliefs, walking away from Truth. We are ego seekers and or ego searches, chasing dreams of unreal basis. And, thus, we destroy our own self, and the environment in which we live. So much for wisdom, so much for smarts; so, “Lord forgive us because we do not what we are doing.” We are the product of our attitudes, whims and virtual reality. We are destroying our environment but we do not want to see it. We are dying in this COVID-19 pandemic but we do not care, we have a rule of law that we violate, we have a democracy run by the rich and powerful, and we call ourselves human beings. Are we wise and smart?
I admit, we are not.

Just take a look at a map of the world the WHO provides and think if we are smart and wise. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports today almost 81.5 million confirmed cases, and near 1.8 million deaths in the world. I predict that we will celebrate the New Year, just as we have done for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. So much for Wisdom and Smarts, egotistic pleasures are more important than life.
