“REFORMS”
REFORMS
Our republican form of government is sick with corruption; it needs attention. Our democracy is in harm’s way, it needs protection. And as Benjamin Franklin predicted, “we need to have a revolution” every 200 years because all governments become obsolete and corrupt after that time.”
Our government and the rule of law surrendered to hidden agendas and private interests, which took over our sovereignty. The dream of the American people, those principles formulated before the colonies’ independence, is agonizing. There is no equality for all; there is no freedom, and they trashed our inalienable rights; and so, we cannot pursue happiness under current conditions.
We need a revolution, not like the war of independence, but with reforms to the constitution and amendments to restore the government to what the founding fathers specified in the preamble of the constitution: (1) establish justice, (2) ensure national tranquility, (3) tend to the common defense, (4) promote the general welfare, and (5) secure the benefits of freedom for us and for our posterity. We are losing all that.
This book, Reforms, describe our situation in detail and presents the historical basis and current situations meriting Franklin’s revolution. If we do not reform our constitution the American dream will be more than virtual reality a mirage of that dream. And so, we may soon return to a monarchy, or have a dictatorship for the government. This book describes what and why we need reforms.
