Just a Wish
“Just a Wish”
I wish, [why should I not?],
the sentiments of my soul
may fulfill my revered mission
in the greatness of satisfactions,
bearing flowers and fruits.
Give me an answer to my thought:
my dreams of an open knoll
from where I meditate on this vision;
let it bloom into positive actions
grounded in everlasting roots.
But my wish is not just for me
for Goodness is not for only one,
me, they, or just for heavens above.
I pray to You on my knees:
Give us a dinner of hopes on a single dish.
It will be our communion, or so we’ll see.
Our existence forever was done
with Love, for Love, to love.
So, Lord! I beg You, please,
Grant me this wish,
and I will live and die in your peace.
