COVID-19 Global Impact
Sometimes the causes of an event are not as important as the consequences of that event, because it is more important to stop its damage than traying to discover what caused it. The COVID_19 has paralyzed the world, and continues to holt the world’s functions. The statistics, so far, show that we register near 82 million confirmed cases, and around 1,8 million death in the world.
In the USA the worse flu fatalities was 61,000 deaths in 1917-1918, followed by 51,000 in 2014-201. The COVID-19 in 10 months of 2020 alone has taken the lives of over 330,000 people, and is still killing others.
We cannot say that the COVID-19 is just another flu. Take a look at the United States alone. The confirmed cases and death is always greater in densely populated cities. Near 19.5 million cases and 340,000 deaths. But the spread of the COVID_19 is even greater around the world.
The vaccines are coming out; people are already receiving Pfizer and Moderna’s vaccines. There are twelve companies already working to provide an antidote.

The transmissibility of this virus increases with population density; so, the more people concentrate in a given area the greater the contact, and the greater the transmissibility. Human attitudes toward hygienic means and methods is another influential factor that increases the total cases, and total number of losses. Human actions are another main factor contributing to the statistics. I have no doubt that science can, and will, find a vaccine, a solution, to the pandemic, but human intelligence will determine how soon, we, the people, will get rid of the virus. In other words, the death and disappearance of the COVID-19, depends, not on the vaccine, but on the way we manage our egotistical behavior.
Let science do their part, but let us, all do are part, because we can only get rid of the pandemic, if these two parts work together, hand in hand.
