A Day of Love
Your walk of life did cross mine;
your eyes looked at my eyes;
Your burning lips tenderly talked
of sweet happiness… for our future.
Your hand trembled in my hand;
the heat of your warm embrace
melted my soul into your spell.
Your caresses changed my line;
your soft voice cooed my cries,
murmuring love that locked
my soul in your lulling nature.
Your kisses unleashed worldly desires
of pure and tender love, a brand
of kisses, intertwining a magic lace
that swiftly drove my heart to swell.
Ethereal sensation was that moment;
it took me out of the world of matter,
transcended me up to cloudy sites
where real illusions are a flowered Spring
tinted with the love of passional sentiment.
There, where dreams are absent of banal chatter
your tender caresses to me did sing
an ectasis of feelings with loving bites.
Like a volcano the soul erupted;
with fury the entire earth shook,
spilled its lava on valleys and prairies;
and with glorious lust… fell exhausted.
A path of dreams the soul took,
dawning on another day of fairies.
